There is substantial improvement over the quad-core i7-7700HQ, but the GL703GE lags a bit behind other 8750H machines. The new hexa-core CPU is sure to make its way into most gaming notebooks this year, and while the GL703GE is a decent showing of the new processor's capabilities, it may not be the best. The star of the show is without a doubt the Intel Core i7-8750H. The GTX 1050 Ti variant checks a lot of boxes without leaving many things to slip through the cracks. The Asus GL703GE is, in essence, a refinement of Asus' 17-inch ROG Strix line.
